Mine...2000 Dodge Intrepid R/T with 22,00 miles on it. still like new. 2002 Jeep Liberty wifes and kids car. 2004 Chevy Silverado mine. 2006 Jeep Wrangler, last year of the original style Jeep and fun to drive but not a practical family car . New ones are too much plastic.
I already have my back-up car. A 2005 Mustang GT Manual. Hoot to drive, and I expect nothing less for the future RT that will be in my driveway along side it!
Well, if i didnt get the challenger id probably go for a 2002 Camaro SS with 11,200 miles on it that i found recently. Or maybe something like the GTO or the G8 GT
I'm pretty infatuated with the new Corvette ZR1 right now.
I think most of us are.
Honestly, Im very put off by the shortcuts that have been taken with the Challenger. I am just planning on paying off my current car (Infiniti M45 Sport) early next year ahead of schedule and buying a used Vette Coupe or Z06 to toy around in. Its all these little deviations from the concept (no butterfly valve on the hood, cheap interior, lack of old school paint choices, etc...)
Dodge better get their act together or they will be loosing at least one customer.
My "back up" will be to keep my '05 300C a while longer and the '99 5.9 Durango for winters. I'm really hoping the '09 Challengers at least have some interesting "options" one can throw on them to make up for what did not make it to production. Heck, they have all the design work done on the "Butterfly" functional hood - slap it into Mopar performance as a "dealer option".
okay if your looking for a perfoormance car and dont want to spend alot you could buy a saab 9-3 turbo x and try to find it at MSRP but that would be really hard to find so try and look for a cheap car that is very mod frienedly like a civic or a junk skline or you could get a stealth if your looking to stay with dodge
