Yeah, I bought what they call a "garage". I won''t be parking mine in the sun for any length of time so the dash should stay fine. Most modern dash materials are made to take considerable heat and UV but I won''t push it. A dash mat is like doilies on your couch or runners on your carpet. If you want plastic covered carpet, buy plastic carpet. Or better yet, buy a cover. I have one even for my garage. I cringe every time my kids and their friends walk by my Challenger.

I can see buying a cover for the Challenger. I don''t know as if I''d buy a cover for my garage, too. It''s connected to the house. Getting a good fit would be impossible.

Your right there. I have only seen full house covers in that tacky white and blue or white and red stripes. Plus they are not real custom fitted so they are baggy and billowy, not my cup of tea.

The military life keeps me from buying a house and having a garage I''m afraid. A cover is an ok alternative but I need to have a way to show my parking pass so I dont get towed thus a full car cover is probably out. Thus bringing me to dash cover.
