I have owned my 08 SRT8 (black #6050) for about three weeks and I am having more fun with this Challenger than I ever had with any of my Chargers, Challengers (two 70s) or even my 70 Superbird. I am truly 21 again, and loving this time machine! I had a 1970 R/T S/E that was triple black with power everything and a built 440/auto in high school, so I had to buy a black 2008. Its amazing how different the old and new Challengers are, but there are all the right styling que''s to bring you back to 1970........Dodge did it right with the new Challenger......a home run for sure! I look forward to precipitating within the forum and adding my two cents regarding my experiences with the new Challenger. With so few on the road, and so much written about the Challenger.....it does get attention, making a quick fuel stop almost impossible as people seem to come out of nowhere to have their first look, up close and personal. (I''ll just have to live with it I guess!!)

Welcome to the forum Joe. Agreed... Dodge definately slammed one out of the park with The Car.
Would have to guess that you too have been inflicted with the perma-GRIN.
And you must know by now about the Black ones being fastest. Thats about all you need to know and youre caught up to the rest of us.

Cheers!!

The challenger does make you feel good, not sure about the 21 though. Some may say "look at that old fart driving that hotrod" I don''t care, they''re probably jealous. I''m enjoying every minute of it. All I can can say is bring in on if you want to find out which color is faster. My orange challenger is no slacker and is ready to stand up against whatever color.
