I thought it would be bad not to as far as the engine.

Do you start it once in awhile? Change the fluids regularly?

I have no plans of ever driving my Cutlass, I never start it becasue there's no reason to..if I were I would need to get the temp high enough before turning it off or you'll only cause problems. When I put the car away I changed the oil/filter, put a few drops of oil down each cylinder and keep 45 lbs of air in the tires...that's it.

I'm sorry but I just can't understand why you would own a car just to have it sit like this, and never start it. Why even keep it?

I don't expect you to understand, there's not many that would understand but then I really don't care.

Look at it this way, the average joe just can't understand why guys/gals need cars like the Challenger.......the answer is because we do. JMO

i can explain why i need the car like the challenger..because i get high off of speed..i drive at excessive speeds, because i literally get high...some people express themselves by means of artwork, or music, or poetry..i think that all that stuff is dumb (although i can sing, play piano, and trumpet)..but i feel that a car has to work with me...even with a drove beat up cars, they would have something about them...

my car is how i express myself...i have the RT because it will pin the 145 mph speedo, amanda has been in the car for a 140+ romp, and i have pictures of my speedo reading 120+...i hate that it has become a cliche of sorts, but i have a need for speed...i have to go fast...when i drove 30 miles on the highway each way for work, for two years, there would be several times on desolate strips of highway where i would cruise along at 110+...not racing, just going fast...and when i drove that much, every day, i honestly dont think that there was a day where i DIDNT go into triple digits...why? because i have to...

let me add at this point that i have never been in an accident, and i have never had a speeding ticket...*knock on wood*...ive been close..ive had cars on two weeks and off the ground...and last year in the middle of the night while racing a blown monte, i got too far into a turn, and i simply wasnt going to lose this race, and he lifted...i let the car drift all the way across the three highway lanes as i saw him lift, and before i could i was into the loose crap on the edge of the road, and around she went...got some mud up into the fenderwells, but no damage...

let me say that while i could never just let a muscle car sit, dark age is not the first person whom i have heard of doing this, and i have a world of respect, both for the classic car that he owns, as well as for his amazing self control...

Don't get me wrong, I have respect for you being able to hold on to a old beauty like that, because I know I couldn't. So what are you going to do with it? Hold on to it until you die, and pass it on to your children.
